About Event

AI/ML Hackathon is a collaborative event where tech enthusiasts, data scientists, and developers come together to engage in intensive, time-bound programming sessions. Focused on artificial intelligence and machine learning, participants work on real-world challenges, brainstorming and implementing innovative solutions within a set timeframe.

ELIGIBILITY
Open to all UG, PG & Diploma students from any background with adequate knowledge on AI/ML and valid student ID card.

TEAM FORMATION
A team can consist of a minimum of 3 and a maximum of 5 members. Any institution (College/ University) may form a team.
It is not mandatory for all the team members to register in the registration form, team members must sign up themselves via the link and team leads must register on behalf of the team.
Register a team for the specified competition online on the official BIT V-PRAYUKTI’24 website only.
Team details must be confirmed prior to the Stage-I shortlisting process, no further changes in the team details are encouraged.

STAGES INVOLVED
STAGE 1:
Teams will have an option to tackle any of the assigned problem statements and submit their solutions before the deadline as specified in the format for the chosen statement.
Teams have to submit a PPT that includes abstract, methodology, design and components list.
Based on uniqueness, technical norms and creativity which includes the judging criteria, the top teams will be shortlisted and receive an invitation for the next round from our team that will be shared in due course of time.

STAGE 2
Shortlisted teams should submit a Demo video (2-5 mins) as a drive link and pay the registration fee of Rs.500/ Team in order to complete the registration process through the google form sent to you.
Once after the registration process is over, again a shortlisting will be done based on your demo video submitted.

STAGE 3:
This is an In-person Hackathon where the Shortlisted teams should be present in the respective venue.
Participants have the option to bring their own laptops or utilize the systems provided at the designated venue. Additionally, it is mandatory for participants to bring any essential components required for their project. (Internet access is provided throughout the event).
During the event, there will be a surprise audit by the expert jury panel.

GENERAL RULES:
The time measured by the organizers will be final.
The datasets will be given at the beginning of the Stage II to the shortlisted teams after the stage I.
In case of any disputes/discrepancies, the organizers decision will be final and binding.
